That’s why the Secretary of State made renewing your Illinois License plate a breeze with there Sticker Renewal E-Mail Notice reminder program. All you need to do is sign up – and don’t worry, the process only takes about a minute of your time. Plus, all you’ll need is that Registration ID and PIN number. Which can already be found on either your sticker renewal notice or current/previous registration card. So getting started won’t take any extra effort at all!
If you’re driving around and can’t find your Registration Identification Card or Renewal Notice, don’t worry! Just give the Illinois Secretary of State a call– their Public Inquiry Division has got all your vehicle needs covered. Dial 800-252-8980 (toll free within IL) or 217-785-3000 (for those outside), hit option #8 for an agent, then provide them with license plate number and address info from when it was registered/renewed. Done deal!
